Founded in 2023 as the Rexburg Cello Festival, the Rocky Mountain Cello Festival is a one week music festival created to provide cellists of all ages and abilities a fun and immersive musical experience. As executive director and founder, my goals in establishing this festival were to offer a musical experience where musicians of all walks of life could come together to develop technique, refine artistry, foster kindness, and work with professionals. After seeing the success and joy the festival brought to the Rexburg, Idaho community, our team decided to expand to other locations, offering musical opportunities to musicians throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
